Ronnie Shackelford, age 58, of Rochelle passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019, at home.

Graveside services for Ronnie will be 2 p.m., February 26, 2019, at Jordan Springs Cemetery with Bro. Terry Simmons officiating. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Ronnie was born to Guy and Joann (Grisham) Shackelford on February 25, 1960, in Big Springs, Texas. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1979. Ronnie drove a truck for 40 years.

Ronnie loved hunting and fishing and just being outdoors. He was an Eagle Scout for many years. As a child, he suffered from polio; he overcame it to go on and live a long life.

Ronnie is survived by 2 brothers, Ben Shackelford of Early, Randle Shackelford and wife Kay of Rochelle; 1 sister, Debra Shackelford of Crowley; two uncles; and one aunt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Joann Shackelford; and one brother, Tommy Shackelford.
