Early Police Department responds to fire under bridge next to restaurant

Officers with the Early Police Department have had an eventful week, including responding to a house fire and a fire under a bridge near a restaurant. The following is a list of calls responded to between Monday and Wednesday:
June 21
• Structure Fire – 200 block of Cactus Street – House fire –Early, Brownwood and Zephyr fire departments responded. Red Cross called to assist family.
• Theft in the 200 block of Garmon Drive
• Medical emergency in the 2000 block of Hwy 183 North
• Identity theft in the 100 block of Bonnie Avenue
• Welfare check in the 100 block of Mitsy Lane. Caller concerned about a man’s living conditions. The subject refused assistance
• Goats running loose in the 700 block of Longhorn. The owner was located.
• Loud music in the 100 block of Early Blvd.
• Two vehicle accident with no injuries on C.C. Woodson

June 20
• Assisted CPS in the 200 block of McDonald Dr.
• Domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Northline Dr.
• Welfare check on possible intoxicated female on C.C. Woodson. Female located in Brownwood and was handled by BPD.
• Hit and run accident in the 100 block of Early Boulevard
• Fire call for a fire under the bridge behind Humphrey Pete’s

June 19
• Call received about reckless driver on Hwy 183 S. Unable to locate vehicle.
• Suspicious vehicle on Northline Dr.
• Lost wallet at convenience store
• Assist with fire department on resident who had fallen
• Agency assist call regarding structure fire in the 1900 block of CR 381
• Public assist with fire department. Assisted helping individual who had fallen out of bed
• Domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Sudderth Dr. Parties were separated for the night.
