The Brown County Sheriff’s Office as notified at around 11:25 a.m. today that a road crew inmate, identified as William Robert Smith Jr., had walked away from the Brown County Precinct 1 barn, located on Hwy 377 S. Smith was being held on misdemeanor charges. Smith is a 5’8 white male who was weighs approximately 180 pounds. Smith has brown hair and blue eyes.
