Funeral Mass for Sara Salazar, 90, of Brownwood, will be February 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Church with burial to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., February 15 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Ms. Salazar passed away February 9, 2019.

Sara was born November 3, 1928 to Alejo G. and Leandra (Flores) Salazar in Lometa, Texas. Aunt graduated from Brownwood High School and Nursing School. She worked at Brownwood Memorial Hospital and then at Brownwood State School as an LVN. She was a member of St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Church and was involved in CCD, RCIA and served in different organizations within St. Mary’s. Sara also served at Good Samaritan and Meals on Wheels.

Those left behind to cherish her memories include many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gregoria Trevino and Isabel Salazar and brothers, Felix Salazar and Torivio Salazar.
