The following calls were responded to over the weekend by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

On Friday, September 13, at approximately 18:09 hours, a Corporal responded to David Street for a Duty on Striking Fixed Object report. The incident is still be investigated.

On September 13, at approximately 19:51, a Deputy was dispatched to the ER of the local hospital. This was in regards to an assault which occurred in the County. A report was made.

On September 14, 2019, at approximately 02:41 hours, a Corporal initiated a traffic stop on a 1986 Ford Truck for reckless driving. The Corporal contacted two men who were subsequently arrested for Reckless Driving, No Driver’s License, Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility and Displaying Expired Registration. One of the men was also arrested for Public Intoxication and Illegal Dumping < 5 pounds. Both were taken to Brown County Jail and released to jail staff.

On Saturday, September 14, at about 13:03 hours, a Deputy arrived at County Road 147 in Brownwood in regards to a theft. The Deputy spoke with a woman who was the victim. She stated someone had taken her trash can.

On September 15, at approximately 04:42 hours, a Deputy was dispatched to Brook Valley Drive in Brownwood. This was in regards to an assault. A report was made.
