Lake Patrol at Lake Brownwood was honored Monday morning in the regular meeting of Brown County Commissioners.

Brown County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly, presented a framed plaque to Brock Johnson representing Lake Patrol.  “I was talking with TCEQ the other day and they were singing the praises about our Lake Patrol and it reminded me that I don’t think a lot of people understand just how much responsibility they have,” Lilly said.  He pointed out that, in addition to boating safety during the summer, they also inspect all of the docks and patrol the entire perimeter of the lake.
