Jason Johnson of Austin, well known speaker in the foster care circle, will be the guest speaker in Brownwood at a free community event for foster parents.

It is free to anyone who is a foster parent, respite care giver, case worker, social worker or anyone interested in learning how they can help with the foster care system in Brownwood.

The event is at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 6.

Mr. Johnson is also speaking from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm in the main sanctuary of the church that same day.

There is a free meal and childcare provide.
