Elroy Stenson, 86, of Round Rock, formerly of Brownwood, passed away February 4, 2019 in Round Rock. A memorial in honor of Elroy will be held at a later date.

Elroy Stenson was born December 8, 1932 in Muldoon, Texas to Cornelia and Sylvester Stenson Sr. Elroy received his primary education from Muldoon schools. The family moved to Brownwood, where they would reside for many years. Elroy worked in construction and heavy machinery for more than 50 years.

Elroy was preceded in death by sons Michael and Larry; brothers LJ Stenson, Alton Stenson and Sylvester Stenson Jr.; sisters, Lydia Muncha and Jonell Boston.

Left to cherish his memories are Charles Ann Stenson; sons David Stenson and Carl Stenson; siblings Tommy Stenson, Ruben Stenson, Joyce Lyons and Betty Smith; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Cremation services have been entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home.
