The City of Early Police Department posted the following information on their Facebook page late Tuesday night concerning a death investigation.

On July 9th, at approximately 5:20 pm, Early Police and Fire, along with Lifeguard EMS, responded to a business in the 500 block of Early Blvd. to a reported unconscious person. When responding units arrived, they found a 47 year-old man deceased in a work room of the business. JP Thompson responded and ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.  Foul play is not suspected at this time but a thorough investigation is being conducted to determine cause of death.
