For the first time in many months, there are no drought restrictions in place due to the rising levels at Lake Brownwood. The current lake level is 1420.43, or 4.57’ below spillway and is still on the rise. The increase has been about 1/10th of a foot per hour since around noon on Wednesday.
Once the level hit 1420, drought restrictions were no longer needed. The lake has risen a little less than two feet since 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
