Dallas Marshall, Brownwood, passed away December 23, 2018 at his home with family by his side. Memorial services will be January 7 at 10 a.m. at Brownwood Funeral Home. A private burial will be January 4 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.

Dallas was born January 13, 1944 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Mary Ruth and Jake Marshall. Dallas attended Jeffersonville schools. Soon after school, Dalls joined the United States Army. In August of 1976, Dallas married the love his life Linda Winkels. Dallas was a member of the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church. Dallas loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He loved bingo and cleaning youth fields and watching children play baseball.

Dallas preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are wife, Linda Marshall; sons, David Marshall and wife Jan of Brownwood, Tony Marshall of Indiana; daughter, Allison Guillon of Indiana, Melissa of Houston; best friend, dog, one brother, one child, nine grand children and 15 great grandchildren.
