City Council to Meet Early Tuesday Morning – New Fire Chief May be Announced

The Brownwood City Council will hold a meeting at 8:30 am on Tuesday, November 26 and are expected to name a new Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator.  The complete meeting agenda is below.

The City Council may convene into a closed executive session in the Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

  1. Consider a candidate for the Fire Chief/ Emergency Management Coordinator.

Consider ratification of the Brownwood Municipal Development District Board action to amend the Economic Development Agreement with Steve Browder related to Duckhorn Town Ranch Phase III to reimburse the developer for some street and curb and gutter work and increase the total anticipated project costs to$125,000.
