More than 300 people attended the 41st Annual Early Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet Monday night held at Aldersgate Enrichment Center just south of Early.
Early City Administrator, Tony Aaron, was named Early’s Citizen of the Year.
Tony became City Administrator in 2014 after many years of service in law enforcement here in Brown County. He is married to Jennifer Aaron and they have two children. In his bio, it notes that Tony also served in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves from 1991 to 1999. He is a cancer survivor, was Salutatorian of his Police Academy class at Tarleton, has a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a Major in Criminal Justice from Howard Payne and Masters of Public Administration from Sam Houston State University.
