On 2/12, at approximately 14:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive at an apartment for a call of hit and run. Brownwood Police made a report for accident involving damage to vehicle over $200.00 worth of damage.
On 2/12, at approximately 17:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Commerce Street for a call of DUI. Brownwood Police made a welfare check on a suspect parked in the middle of the 600 block of W. Commerce Street and made an arrest for driving while intoxicated.
On 2/13, at approximately 12:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Austin Avenue for a call of fraud. Brownwood Police made a report for forgery.
Thursday February 13, 2020 at approximately 15:03 hours, Brownwood Police Department received a report of Theft of Property> $750 <$7500. The items stolen were construction tools.
On Thursday, February 13, at approximately 18:39 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 500 block of West Commerce in reference to Theft. A man was issued a citation in regards to this incident.
On Thursday, 2/13, officers with the Brownwood Police Department received a report of a stolen tax refund card. Officers took a report and the investigation is ongoing.
On Thursday, 2/13, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department received a report of harassment over the phone. Officers made contact with the victim and a report has been generated. The investigation is ongoing.
On February 14, Brownwood officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of South US 377 in reference to a hit-and-run. A report has been generated.
On Friday, February 14, the Brownwood Police Department conducted a pedestrian stop on two males in the 1400 block of Waco Street. At the conclusion of the pedestrian stop, one man was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance.
On Friday, February 14, at approximately 16:54 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 1600 block of 1st Street in reference to a burglary not in progress. A report was completed.
On Friday, February 14, at approximately 18:47 hours Officer Weaver was dispatched to the 1000 block of Vine St. in reference to a Theft. Officer Weaver arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been filed.
On Friday, February 14, at approximately 17:41 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 2000 block of 6th Street in reference to animal cruelty. A report was completed.
On February 14, a Brownwood Police Officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Avenue C and Vincent Avenue. A consent search was performed on the pickup and drug paraphernalia was located inside. The driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Friday, February 14, at approximately 21:08 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to the 600 block of Early Blvd. in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. Officer Weaver arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and a report has been made.
On February 14, Brownwood officers were dispatched to 7th St/Coggin Ave in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. A report has been generated.
On Saturday, February 15, Brownwood officers were dispatched to La Quinta in reference to a hit and run. A report has been generated.
On February 15, at 11:15 hours, Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to 700 Ave I in reference to an assault that had occurred at that location. A report was taken for Assault causing Bodily Injury.

On Sunday, February 16, 2020, at approximately 0014 Hrs, Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to an unwanted person. An investigation was made and a female subject was arrested for assault.
On Sunday, February 16, at approximately 01:18 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in the 2000 block of 4th Street in reference to an unwanted person. Upon arrive an investigation was conducted and an arrest was made on a female subject.
On Sunday, February 16, at approximately 04:13 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to the intersection of Coleman Ave. and Cordell St. in reference to suspicious activity. Officer Weaver conducted an investigation. A report has been made.
On February 16, Brownwood officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Temple Ave. in reference to an assault. An arrest was made and a report has been generated.
On Sunday February 16, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive in reference to a child welfare call. When officers arrived they were informed of a theft that had occurred. Information was gathered from the reporting party and a report was generated.
