This is the latest Brownwood Police Report, released Monday morning, November 25.

On November 22, 2019 Officers with Brownwood PD responded around the 1800 block of 7th St. in reference to an assault. A report was generated in response to this call.

On Friday, November 22, 2019, at approximately 1245, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood address on Alpine CT. in reference to Theft. A report was generated for this incident.

On November 22, 2019 at approximately 13:15 hours Officers with Brownwood PD were dispatched to a citizen’s dispute around the 400 block of W. Commerce. One subject was arrested and a report was generated in reference to this call.

On Friday, November 22, 2019, Officers responded to 401 W. Commerce (Walmart) in reference to theft. After speaking to employees at this location a report was generated.

On November 22, 2019 at approximately 14:58 hours Officers with Brownwood PD responded to the Law Enforcement center (1050 W. Commerce) in reference to a walk-in. A report was generated in response to this call.

On Friday November 22, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of 377 South in reference to criminal trespassing. A trespass warning had previously been issued to an individual for the complex.  The individual was found hiding inside a closet within a residence. The individual was subsequently placed into custody for violating the trespass warning.

On Friday, November 22, 2019, at approximately 20:00 hours, Officer Donahoo and FTO Tidwell were dispatched to the 1200 block of Coggin Ave in reference to a burglary. An investigation and report were completed.

On Saturday November 23, 2019 at approximately 02:00 hours, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Coggin Ave in reference to a suspicious call. The caller informed dispatch a male was asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle for a long time. When officers arrived, the male was still asleep in the vehicle and was subsequently placed under arrest for public intoxication.

On Saturday, November 23, 2019, Officers responded to the 2400 block of ft Street in reference to a stolen A TV. After speaking to the owner of the vehicle, a report was generated.

On Saturday November 23, 2019, officers were informed of a theft in the 400 block of West Commerce. The loss prevention Associate informed officers the vehicle with the suspect was leaving scene, an investigatory stop was made. During the stop the smell of burnt marijuana was detected coming from within the vehicle. A search was performed and drug paraphernalia was located. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for the paraphernalia.

On Saturday, 11/23/2019, at approximately 1820 hours, Officer Donahoo and FTO Tidwell, a North Brownwood business in the 400 block of West Commerce in reference to a theft call. An investigation and report were completed.

On Saturday, November 23, 2019, at approximately 22:03 hours, Officer Donahoo and FTO Tidwell noticed two open storage units in the 2200 block of Brady Avenue. An investigation and report were completed.

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, the Brownwood Police Department performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 block of East Commerce Street. During the traffic stop, quantities of THC products, a small quantity of marijuana, and a small quantity of cocaine were located from the occupants in the vehicle. At the conclusion of the traffic stop investigation, a man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, a man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, Two women were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, Officers located a male subject in the 500 block of W. Austin opening storage unit doors. The male was found with property out of the storage unit. The male was taken into custody and transported to Brown County Jail without further incident, and a report was generated.

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, Officers responded to the 1100 block of San Benito Drive in reference to tires that were damaged. After speaking to the owner, a report was generated.
