(contributed) The October meeting of the Brown County Conservatives will take place on October 24, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Lehnis Railroad Museum.  State Rep. Mike Lang will be the guest speaker. Rep. Lang will provide an update on the activities of the Mass Violence Prevention & Community Safety Committee, the committee formed after the recent mass shootings in Texas and which he is a member, and a preview of the 87th Legislature. Rep. Lang is currently serving his second term in the Texas State House of Representatives and has announced he will be seeking reelection for a third term.
