Billie Boenicke Holcomb, age 93, of Bangs, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in the Bangs Nursing Home.
Billie was born on November 29, 1926 in Brown County to Anton W. and Sally Lee (Harris) Boenicke. She married Vernon Holcomb on January 3, 1946 in Bell County. She attended two years of college at what is now Texas Women’s University. She worked for Bangs Drug Mart for a number of years and also enjoyed gardening. Billie was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church in Brownwood.
Billie is survived by two nieces, Sherrie Nunn Midkiff and Brenda Nunn Scarborough and numerous cousins.
A private family graveside will be held in the Bangs Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
