The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 7th annual “Your Special Day” event, previously known as the Brownwood Area Bridal Fair, January 19 at the Depot Civic & Cultural Center.

“The Brownwood Area Bridal Fair underwent a name change to make the event inclusive for other special events,” said Sunni Modawell, executive director.

The event will host a variety of vendors and will be a resource in planning for that special day. Vendors will showcase their products and services and will be available with tips, techniques, and ideas for the special event. Photographers, florists, DJs, party rental and venues as well as other businesses are just a few of the types of vendors that will be on hand.

The event provides an opportunity for event planners to meet with businesses, all in one location, to help assist in planning the big day. Door prize drawings will be held throughout the day, including a grand prize drawing.

“Your Special Day” will take place tomorrow from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Admission to the show is free. Beginning at 12:30, participants will have the opportunity to take part in beer and wine tasting.
