Aaron to speak at Thursday’s PVRW meeting

The Pecan Valley Republican Women’s monthly meeting will be held this Thursday at 6 p.m. at TSTC, located at 301 Main. The entrance is at the rear of the building on Booker. You do not have to be a member to attend. The public is welcome. This month’s speaker will be Tony Aaron, a native of Brown County and Early City Administrator.

He will be speaking on the best way to engage your local government, the best way to engage your local government and how to follow your dreams in spite of obstacles. Before Aaron became Early City Administrator, he achieved multiple successes. Aaron’s father was an entrepreneur and inventor who owned several small businesses and taught him the value of hard work and chasing dreams.

Aaron beat non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 1993 and also served in the Army National Guard and Reserves from 1991 to 1993. Aaron went on to attend Indiana Bible College, where he studied ministry and Christian education. Aaron also attended college at Tarleton State University as well as Howard Payne University, where he earned a bachelor of applied arts and science with a major in criminal justice. His law enforcement career included working for the Comanche County and Brown County Sheriff’s Offices for the next 18 years and remains a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
