Assaulting public servant nets four year sentence

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ells presiding. Those sentenced were:

Edward Martinez, III pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Stephanie Lopez pled guilty to the felony offense of Theft-Enhanced and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Carlie Lee Siegeler pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Against Public Servant and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Noel Espronceda pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Nicole Lopez pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Ricardo Homero Hurtado AKA Homero R. Hurtado AKA Homero Richardo Hurtado pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
