A devoted homemaker, Betty was not only the caretaker of her home and farm but also a nurturing presence in the lives of all who knew her. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories, one that Betty held dear to her heart.

Growing up in Leaday, Betty graduated from Mozelle High School, where the values of hard work and community service were instilled in her. Throughout her life, she exemplified these characteristics by generously volunteering for the Panther Creek Booster Club, where her loving and giving spirit shone through. Betty was a lady of faith who embraced her beliefs through active participation. She found joy in simple pleasures, most notably in her culinary skills, which were a testament to her love for family and friends.

Betty is survived by her two children, Randy Scarborough of Bangs and Amy Parker and her husband Hank of May. She brought immense joy to her family, particularly to her grandchildren, Lane Parker and his fiancé Kelan Bode, and Gage Parker. Betty also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Norene Jamison and Nelda Scarborough along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her loving husband Glen Scarborough, her daughter Sherry Turney, and her parents Manton Jamison and Julia Skelton Jamison.
