Two members of the state-qualifying Brownwood Lady Lions earned all-state cross country accolades.
Kate Tindol and Sidney Windham were both selected to the Class 4A team by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
Tindol won the District 6-4A championship (12:13.48), placed 13th at the Region I-4A meet (12:27.6), and came in 26th (12:06.5) at the UIL Class 4A Cross Country State Championship.
Windham placed fourth at district (12:39.86), 14th at regionals (12:30.4) and finished 16th at the state meet (11:54.6.
Also, Tindol, Windham, Talia Craff, Kylea Karnes and Braycee Lee were named TGCA Academic All-State in Class 4A by the TGCA.
The Lady Lions won district, finished fourth at regionals and came in seventh at state – the best overall performance by a Brownwood girls team in program history.
