Nathan Smith has a background in agriculture and finance with a passion for the outdoors. He brings his love of hunting and fishing along with experience in journalism to produce and host Central Texas Outdoors each week. He learned to hunt and fish alongside his father, uncles and grandfather and believes in passing down that heritage and love of the outdoors to the next generation.

He enjoys spending time outside with his family on their small ranch in Brown County. When not at work he will likely be horseback or hunting or scouting for a new fishing location. He is a proud Tarleton State University alum and serves on the Good Samaritan Ministries Board of Directors and Kiwanis Club of Brownwood.
