Francisco “Pancho” Garza III, 42, of May, Texas passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024. The family will announce a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

Pancho was born September 27, 1982 in Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington to Francisco Garza Jr. and Mary (DeLaRosa) Garza. He attended Brownwood School and received his GED in Brownwood. Pancho lived many years here and many years in Pasadena close to his father. He had moved back to May, Texas to live next to his sister, Francis and help take care of his mother as she also helped Stephanie with the babies. Pancho was a man of many interests and talents. He enjoyed collecting old and unique coins and bills. He was an artist who loved drawing and repainting original items in his own style, fixing anything “unfixable” and accomplishing it successfully. He found his peace in music and loved watching Tik Tok videos. Halloween was his favorite holiday.

He loved and enjoyed watching comedy movies and horror movies with his family, but was always ready to experience joy watching children’s cartoons with the kiddos, laughing and playing with his daughters. Pancho and Stephanie were expecting their third child in about 6 months and he had so much excitement for the new one’s arrival. He took pride in watching his little girls grow. His little girls were his word, his greatest achievement, his biggest joy, always keeping him happy, smiling and proud. He cherished his family, his home life and helping and caring for others and loved his mother’s cooking!

Pancho is survived by his fiancé and mother to his children, Stephanie Stuckey of May; daughters, Victoria Garza and Lydia Garza; his mother, Maria Garza of May; his father, Francisco Garza Jr. and fiancé, Sulema Ramirez of Pasadena; sisters, Angelica Vestal and husband Kerry of Waco & Francesca Reynolds and fiancé Jon White of Brownwood; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pancho was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francisco Garza Sr., Lydia Buitron, Angelita Perez and Pedro DeLaRosa.
