Chester Dewayne Marney, age 80 of Brownwood, Texas passed away September 22, 2024. A private burial will be held at Bangs Cemetery, in Bangs Texas under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Chester was born December 14, 1943 in Afton, Oklahoma to Doyle David and Georgia Mae Marney. He worked for Richard Hetzel for over 30 years as a car detailer, and he was also an employee at Kohler for a number of years. Chester loved the Lord with all his heart and was the epitome of gentleness and humility.

He is survived by his twin brother Lester Marney, brothers Marvin Marney, Jerry Marney, and Delbert Marney; and sister Alena Thomas (Eddie), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Modena Marlene Marney; and brother Otis Marney.
