The Brown County Appraisal District is moving.  Our new office is located at 3804 Hwy 377 S in Brownwood.  It is between Texas Bank and Mid-Tex Federal Credit Union and across from Trees Forever Nursery.

In order to facilitate the move, the office will be closed Monday the 30th of September through Wednesday the 2nd of October.  Our web services will also be effected.  We are working to keep down-time to a minimum.

We will be unable to accept or return calls during this time.  You may leave a message, of course, but it would be best to try to contact us after we have re-opened.

We ask for your patience as we make this transition.  The new location offers significant advantages, especially with regard to parking and accessibility.
