Forget the fancy costumes and formal atmosphere. Wear your comfortable shoes and casual clothes, and let Bill Bradley guide you through the steps. Ballroom Dance for Beginners starts Tuesday, Sept 17 at the Brownwood Art Center, 215 Fisk. The cost is $10 per person, and no pre-registration or partner is required—just show up. Class is from 7:30-9:00 pm, continuing weekly every Tuesday evening.
Bill will start with the beginner basics of the Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing, Rumba, Cha-Cha, and Tango. If all goes well, he may progress to more Latin dance styles.
Recently relocated to Early, Bill started teaching dance in Ft. Worth in 2001. “I taught weekly Ballroom dance lessons and hosted monthly dances at the historical wedding chapel called Southside Preservation Hall. I would like to create a similar experience in Brownwood, incorporating the cultural and historical significance of dance.”
