TxDOT’s Brownwood Office shared the following information Tuesday:
The Texas Department of Transportation’s Brownwood District is pleased to announce the appointment of Cody Stevens as the Brown County Maintenance Section Supervisor.
In this position, Stevens oversees TxDOT’s maintenance and emergency management activities on 329 miles of roadways in Brown County, including important transportation corridors such as US Highways 67, 84, 183 and 377. Stevens supervises a staff of 15 employees based at this TxDOT facility.
Stevens is a 2008 graduate of Goldthwaite High School. His career at TxDOT began in July of 2012, as a maintenance crew member in Mills County, where he also served as crew chief. In late 2022, Stevens transferred to Brown County, where he advanced to supervisor, effective August 24, 2024.
In his spare time, Stevens enjoys spending time with his fiancé Leslie and two boys Kipten and Kasen. His hobbies include working on cars, going to the shooting range, watching his boys play sports and traveling with his family whenever possible.
TxDOT’s Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
