The Early Police Department shared the following information on Facebook Tuesday afternoon:

On Tuesday, April at approximately 2:30 a.m., Early Police Officers stopped a vehicle behind the MC Bank in the 400 block of Early Blvd. The driver in the vehicle was revving the engine and had loud music playing. The vehicle was also being operated with 1 front wheel on the rim and no tire.

The vehicle had been reported to area law enforcement approximately an hour before as a possible intoxicated driver but had not been located. The driver of the vehicle was drinking a beer when the officer approached the window and appeared very intoxicated.

Officers attempted to offer a field sobriety test to the driver but the driver was unable to perform he test due to intoxication. A search warrant for a blood test was issued and the driver was taken to Hendrick ER.

The driver, Marisala, Garcia was then taken to the Brown County Jail and booked for driving while intoxicated with an open container.
