Regional track meets for all Brown County schools have now concluded and, barring any late additions as wild cards, Brownwood, Early, May and Zephyr will combine to send 14 entrants in the UIL Track and Field State Championship May 2-4 at Myers Stadium at the University of Texas at Austin. Joining the Brown County contingent is another 20 entrants from the surrounding area.
