Jerrie Gale Franklin, 61

Jerrie Gale Franklin, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024. Born on December 25, 1962, Jerrie brought warmth, joy, and unconditional love to all who knew her.

Jerrie was reunited in heaven with her son, John Alan Franklin, who she loved very dearly.  She was also preceded in death by the love of her Life, Gary Franklin, her parents, Virdie James Cragett and Annie Ruth Vaughn-Cragett, her brothers James Allen Cragett and Ricky Wayne Cragett, and her mother-in-law, JoAnn Franklin.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Christina Hubbard and husband Perry of Gainesville, TX, their son Lee and Great Grandson Princeton. Her daughter Ashley Coronado and husband Leonel, along with their son Alonzo, of Early, TX. As well as her son Kurt Sinyard of Lubbock, TX. She also leaves behind her sister, Vickie Chase, and husband Bobby of Weatherford, TX, and her father-in-law, John Franklin. Jerrie will be forever be remembered by her grandsons Victor, Gary, and Benjamin, as well as their Mother Mayra. Jerrie leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Jerrie found immense joy in cooking, indulging in her favorite TV shows, and savoring homemade chocolate cake, a tradition she cherished each year on her birthday. Her proudest achievement was her family, whom she adored above all else. Whether gathered around the dinner table or cruising around on her golf cart, Jerrie’s happiness was always amplified in the presence of her loved ones.

Jerrie worked at Little Caesar’s Pizza in Brownwood since 2006. She loved her co-workers, customers, and especially her boss, Allan and Stormy, who she considered family.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to their dear friend Christina Norman, the compassionate ICU nurses at Hendricks Medical Center, the dedicated staff of Solaris Hospice, and Jerrie’s hospice nurse, Kelly, for their unwavering support and care during Jerrie’s journey.

In celebration of Jerrie’s life, a memorial service will be held to honor her legacy and the love she shared with everyone she touched, to be announced at a later time.
