Becky was born in Borger, Tx to Jimmy and Carol Platter on February 11, 1954, the oldest of six children. She attended Brownwood High School where she met the love of her life, Greg Dibrell, and married him shortly after on March 3, 1972.
Becky was a dedicated wife for over 51 years, a proud mom to 3 children and a loving Nana to 11 grandchildren.
She was a homemaker much of her life, making her family the biggest priority of all. Her dedication led her to be a homeroom mother for her kids as they were in school. She always made sure they had the most creative homemade gifts for their teachers and classmates. She was an extremely talented artist and could work with power tools better than most. Her personalized touch on her artwork has made its way to friends, family, and acquaintances throughout the area.
Becky always made it a top priority to make her home “the fun house” that everyone wanted to be at.
Beyond Becky’s artistic abilities, she was a true people person, who never met a stranger, to the point that QVC even tried to recruit her to work for them due to her magnetic personality and people skills.
Her outgoing and comical interactions with her family have created cherished memories that will be told and last forever. She was never short of words and full of wisdom. If she ever met you, you had a friend for life.
Becky and Greg attended Victory Life Church and came to know the Lord at a young age and were baptized soon after marriage.
Becky is survived by her husband, Greg Dibrell. Her 3 children, Shawn Dibrell and wife Laura of San Antonio, Heather Hill and husband Jimmy of San Angelo, Natasha Hillhouse and husband Flint of San Angelo; grandchildren, Tanner Dibrell, Danielle Prior and husband Matt, Scott and Kyler Dibrell, Weston, Tyler, Colton and Austin Hill, Cadyn, Christian Gatlin, and Cameron Mobley; sisters Brenda Hutchens, Belinda Minica and husband Cotton, Jimmie Carol Paz, Melody Henderson and husband Troy, and brother Jack Platter, all of Brownwood.
