Due to forecasted inclement weather, Brownwood‘s Veterans Day program will be at 11 AM on Friday, November 10, at VFW post 3278, 2300 Stephen F Austin Drive instead of the Central Texas Veterans Memorial.

State Senator Phil King will give the Keynote address. Senator King is also a colonel in the Texas state guard.

There will also be dedication of plaques honoring World War II Brownwood Veterans Jack Carlson and J.H. Childs.
