Dale passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the age of 68.

Dale grew up in Bangs, Texas and attended Bangs High School.

Dale was outspoken and would always voice exactly what he was thinking.

He believed in standing up for your beliefs and convictions.

He loved his motorcycles, cowboy hats, and pets.

He was a comedian, Poet, and history buff.

Dale is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diana Lewis Brooks; brother Perry L Brooks and his wife, Jeanine; brother Bill Shaw and wife, Donna; and daughter Rev. Leigh Ann Shaw.

He is preceded by his parents Perry R Brooks and Mildred Walker Brooks of Bangs, Texas.

Graveside Service will be held at the Bangs Cemetery on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 11:00am.

The family requests donations be made in Dale’s name to any Veterans’ organization of your choosing.
