Brown County Grand Jury Hands Down Indictments on 21 Individuals

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the September 2023 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 23 true bills were returned against 21 persons.

Those indicted were:

  • Jeremy Kristofer Deaton: Attempted sexual performance by a child
  • Daniel Barraza: Attempted sexual assault of a child; Online solicitation of a minor
  • Eric Jeremiah O’Neill: Online solicitation of a minor
  • Ethan Ford: Online solicitation of a minor
  • Jayvin Little: Online solicitation of a minor
  • John Castilaw: Possession or promotion of child pornography
  • Jeffrey Don Rogers: Online solicitation of a minor
  • Jeremy Kyle Lynn: Assault family violence-enhanced
  • Gavin Slavik: Evading arrest
  • Mark Lyle: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
  • Norma Smith: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Kattie Diane French aka Kattie Diane Kitchens French: Possession of a controlled substance-state jail felony enhancement
  • Danessa Kay Gomez: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Jonathan Shane Eisenhauer: Possession of a controlled substance-state jail felony enhancement
  • Daniel Roberts: Credit card or debit card abuse
  • Alexander James Harris: Possession of a controlled substance-repeat offender
  • Casey Phillip Parrack: Ct. I-VI: Continuous sexual abuse of a young child

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
