Kayli DeVusser, a freshman at Early High School earned the 4th place honors in the Senior Division of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Junior Shooting Sports.
Shooting athletes must make the top 20 in their division in order to qualify for the Championship round, which is another round of 100 sporting clays.
Kayli advanced to the championship round with a 86/100, in the six spot birth to finals.
In the championship round, the athletes fought the setting sun. Kayli secured the 4th place spot on the podium with 85 birds broke of the 100.
Kayli heads to San Antonio at the end of the month to compete at the National Sporting Clays Championship.
