Howard Payne University’s School of Music and Fine Arts recently named 21 students as recipients of music scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students are eligible for three levels of scholarship support to further their educations: named scholarships, scholarships for those who are majors or minors in music and scholarships for those who participate in one or more university music ensembles.
“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of those who contribute to the mission of Howard Payne University through the support of student scholarships for the fine arts,” said Dr. Richard Fiese, dean of the School of Music and Fine Arts and professor of music. “The opportunity afforded these outstanding students who receive these scholarships makes a difference in their lives and the lives of the communities that they serve upon graduation. These are differences that truly resonate into eternity in unforeseen ways, and we hope that we continue to see the opportunities expand this reach in the future.”
