Fire Damages Rodeo Office

The Brownwood Fire Department was called Sunday morning at 9 o’clock to 4206 Highway 377 South – the Rodeo Office at the fairgrounds.

The fire department reports the fire was put out by personnel on scene but fire crews checked for hot spots with a thermal imaging camera and applied water to burned areas.

The 12 by 12 metal building had charred and burned soffit on 3 sides of the building.

The fire department determined the cause to be electrical in nature.   Damage is estimated at $5,000.
