Funeral services for Mary will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with Margarito Barbosa officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, on Monday, July 3, 2023. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Mary was born in Dimmit, Texas, on May 3, 1957. She married Ismael Ceniceros on June 7, 1977, in Coleman. They have been happily married and serving the Lord for 46 years. Mary was the mother of four wonderful sons.

Mary was the first in her family to earn a college degree from Howard Payne University and spent most of her career teaching Spanish at Brownwood and Early schools. She had a passion for God, and she enjoyed serving in her local church. Mary was a Sunday School teacher, worship leader, and was very passionate about sharing Jesus. She was a faithful wife and an amazing mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. Mary was a Godly example for all that she met.

In her later years, when she could no longer serve in the same capacity, she would spend endless hours praying over the petitions of the church. It filled her heart with great joy to see how God was moving. We would spend hours together reading the Bible and sharing what God had put in our hearts.

Mary showed Jesus and left an impact on all around her.  She will be greatly missed even as we celebrate the great victory of eternal life in Jesus that she now experiences.

Mary is survived by her spouse, Ismael Ceniceros; her sons, Ismael Daniel, Noe, Jonathan, and James Ceniceros; two amazing daughters-in-laws, Annet and Nery; five grandchildren, Carmen, Michael Ismael, Noe Jesus, Noemi, and Nathan; and a church filled with loved ones that fondly remember her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Rosales Ramirez and Juanita Gonzales Ramirez of Coleman.

We are grateful to God for the years that he allowed us to have this beautiful woman in our lives. And we wait with great expectation for the day that God reunites us in Heaven.
