Delia Victoria Solis, age 76, of Brady, Texas passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 in Brady, surrounded by her family.

Delia was born September 16, 1945 in Brady, Texas to Genaro Gonzales and Daria (Valdez) Gonzales.  She grew up in Brady and was a 1964 graduate of Brady High School.  She worked as an office clerk for Super S Foods, then McShan’s and Lowes Market for over 20 years.  She enjoyed dancing in her younger days, mariachi bands, gardening and caring for her roses, taking care of her yard, sewing and especially sending stuff to her grandchildren.  She was a very giving and private person.  She was a catholic and a lifelong resident of Brady.

Delia is survived by son Israel Solis of Hillsboro, Texas; daughters Rebecca Castaneda of Converse, Texas and Melinda Solis of Austin, Texas; sister Ofilia Gloria of Austin, Texas; 11grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  Delia was preceded in death by her mother Daria V. Gonzales and son Casimiro Solis.
