stw-3

A strong cold front will move through Brown and neighboring counties this Saturday evening.  As a result, thunderstorms had already started forming at mid afternoon Saturday to the west of Brownwood.  Until 10:00 pm Saturday evening, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect.  Statement below from the San Angelo National Weather Service:

“Strong to severe storms are possible across portions of West Central Texas late this afternoon and this evening, mainly along and south of a Brownwood to San Angelo to Ozona line. Large hail will be the main threat, along with dangerous lightning, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall. An isolated tornado will also remain possible. ”
