Twenty BHS Choir students recently participated in the Region 7 UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest. “Students have worked hard all semester on their solos for the contest,” stated BHS Choir Director Jennifer Reeves.

Jack Field and Aqua Garcia earned a first division medal for their Class 1 solos and will advance to the state Solo & Ensemble contest in May.

The following students earned first division medals for their Class 2 solos: Kailee Bessent, Alden Cecil, Olivia Gonzales, Bryleigh Gutierrez, Maricella Gutierrez, Garrett Hall, Yezennia Lugo, Emory May, Alivia Waller, Jahai Calloway, and Trinity Johnson.
