The National Weather Service has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH until 8:00 pm Thursday for Brown and neighboring counties. The watch also includes Callahan, Coleman, Concho, McCulloch, Menard, Runnels, San Saba and Taylor in the KOXE listening area.  The watch means severe storms, capable of producing damaging wind and large hail, will be possible through 8:00 pm. As of 1:45 pm, a line of storms had developed from west of San Angelo northward to Snyder. Behind the line of storms is a dust storm with near zero visibility over much of West Texas as winds gust over 50 mph.  Listen to KOXE 101.3 for weather updates and warnings.
