Paul Dean has a zest for life.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of South Park Baptist Church in Lubbock.

Preceding Paul Dean in death are his parents; his grandparents, Dennis and Velma Garrett and George and Eva Smith; two brothers, Bobby Fisher and Dwayne Smith; and one great-nephew, Holt Simmons.

He is survived by the love of his life, Cindy Smith of Lubbock; his pride and joy, daughter Sarah Ann Smith of Lubbock; his brothers, Dale Smith of Lubbock and Larry McMillan and partner Sheryl Moon of San Angelo; his sisters, Diane Ledet of Lubbock and Juneva Peters and husband Jeff of Sheffield; sister in law, Toni Fisher of Crandall; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and so many other family members that he loved dearly.
