Barry Beal, age 72, of Coleman, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Holiday Hill Nursing Home.
A private interment was held in the Coleman City Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
He was born Barry Lane Beal on June 26, 1950, in Coleman to Eddie Beal and Velma Savage Beal. Barry grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. After graduation, Barry attended college in Grand Prairie. Barry proudly served in the Army National Guard. He worked in auto parts sales and owned Bumper to Bumper in Coleman for many years. Barry loved fishing, watching NASCAR, and fixing old cars. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Coleman.
Preceding Barry in death are his parents, Eddie and Velma Beal.
Barry is survived by two sons, Chad Beal and wife Kim of Coleman and Joe Beal of Roswell, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Bo Beal, Mason Monroe, Blaine Beal, Brock Beal, Baylee West, Jolie Monroe, and Aden Beal; two great-grandchildren, Kathryn Monroe and Samson West; one brother, Dywaine Beal and wife Sherry of Snyder; and three step children, Mary Abbas of Coleman, Sam Kemp and wife Vickie of Coleman, and Andy Kemp and wife Sandra of Napa, Florida.
Memorials are suggested in memory of Barry to a charity of the donor’s choice.
