A windy Wednesday is in store for West Central Texas, including Brown and surrounding counties. The same system that brought us more beneficial rain overnight, in some cases very heavy rain in Brown County, will cause wind gusts this afternoon that are expected to reach 40 mph here in our local area. Peak wind gusts are expected to occur between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.
