GRAHAM – Too close for comfort, but the Brownwood Lady Lions basketball team came from behind to defeat the Graham Lady Blues, 40-36, Saturday in Graham in the regular season finale. The playoff bound Lady Lions are the third seed in District 6-4A and will likely face District 5-4A runner-up Lubbock Estacado in the Bi-District game on February 14 in Sweetwater.

In the boy’s game, the Brownwood Lions defeated the Graham Steers 52-44 to regain sole possession of 2nd Place in District 6-4A. The Lions are now 3-3 in district. Brownwood is off Tuesday, then hosts district leader Glen Rose on Friday night.
