May ISD Closed Friday, Brownwood Open, Zephyr, Cross Plains, Blanket Start Late

May ISD, through social media, posted they have decided to cancel school Friday, February 3. “At this time it appears that the conditions are right for things to refreeze overnight. We do not want to risk the safety of our students, parents or staff on the roads trying to get to school in the morning.”
May does still intend to play their high school basketball games Friday night.

The Brownwood ISD put out the following statement about plans to return to class on Friday.

“Barring dramatic overnight changes, Brownwood ISD will have normal schedule tomorrow, Friday, February 3, 2023.”

Cross Plains ISD shared on Facebook the district will return to class at 11:00 am on Friday, February 3rd. Doors will open at 10:30.

Zephyr ISD shared on Facebook at 6:30 pm Thursday – “To be safe, we have decided to move Friday’s (2/3/23) start time to 10:00 AM. Breakfast will not be served. Busses will run on a two-hour delay.

Please be safe traveling to school.”

Blanket ISD will start at 10 a.m. Friday. Buses will run 2 hours late. (6:35 p.m. Thursday)

Premier High School Brownwood WILL HAVE CLASSES ON FRIDAY.

Premier High School Comanche will not have classes Friday.
