Five Receive Prison Sentences in District Court

According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

Jose Jonathan Gonzalez pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and was sentenced to Eighteen (18) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Sonnie G. Frausto pled guilty to the felony offense of Felon in Possession of Firearm and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Michael Rae Kidd pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Kidd, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Six (6) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Camron Creek pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Ten (10) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Dashawn Johnson, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse was adjudicated and sentenced to Six (6) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
