Barbara Jean Rucker, age 70, of Eden, Texas passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 in San Angelo, Texas.

Barbara Jean Rucker was born December 4, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Royce Eugene “Bud” Rucker and Betty Lee (Waldo) Rucker. Barbara grew up in Klein, Texas, spent years living on Lake Conroe and has lived in Eden, Texas the last five years. She was passionate about hunting, fishing, and gardening. She loved the outdoors and traveling. In her later years, her favorite place to be was sitting at a slot machine with a Dr. Pepper in her hand. Above all, her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She was “Aunt Barb” to many and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Barbara is survived by daughter Gretchen Franklin; son Josh Franklin and wife Misty; grandchildren Harley and Logan Franklin, and Jaxon Starkes; brother Kenny Rucker and wife Cissy; sister Wendy Jeter and husband Mark; sister-in-law Helen Rucker; her caring ex-husband Mike Franklin and her lifelong best friend Edna Carnine and husband Mike; nieces and nephews Jency Steven, Ronny Rucker, Kristin Hall, Randy Rucker, Kaedy Stallings, Reagan Rucker, Lauren Kitzmann, Cody Garrett, and Lacey Garrett. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ronnie Rucker and Spoody Rucker.
